Dog Legislation
This following list of state federations and organizations were compiled from various existing lists.  All links and websites are active. The information regarding the purpose of the group was taken from each website with no editing.  Only those with websites or, as in a couple of cases, an email group list with description, were selected.  

The websites and group purpose of those omitted will be added as received.   The group email lists addresses are not necessarily coupled with the website, but only added as additional information.  As with the websites, omitted group list addresses will be added when provided.

Our mission is to promote responsible dog ownership; to use all legal means to promote the general welfare of dogs and dog owners; to actively assist or participate in the making or passing or local, state and national legislation concerning dogs and dog owners; to bring such legislation to the attention of the members of the Coalition and to the general public.

We discuss how to fight bills or laws negatively affecting animal ownership: dogs, cats, birds, small mammals, reptiles, others. Federal, state, local legislation, zoning, breed bans, mandatory spay and neuter, breeder registration, breeder licensing, breeding bans, etc.
