Cindy is a very expressive female with red and black coloring. Cindy is extremely affectionate dog, love to give hugs and kisses and a super caring mother for her pups. The puppies in this litter are from AKC Registered parents and will also be registered with the AKC.
The puppies will be exceptional for show ring, suitable for IGP and performance homes such as agility, competitive obedience, tracking etc. as well as active family companions. Our puppies are excellent as service dogs for people with special needs.
RiverRock German Shepherds is a preservation hobby kennel in St. Cloud, MN dedicated to breeding outstanding show, performance, and companion dogs. Breeder, Dr. Zoa Rockenstein, is an AKC Breeder of Merit and Signatory of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America’s Breeders’ Code of Ethics. She is the co-breeder/co-owner of CH. RiverRock’s Maybe I’m Amazed, awarded Best Puppy at both the U.S. and Canadian National Specialty Shows in 2018.

RiverRock German Shepherds are extraordinary companion dogs who display the breed’s versatility in conformation, herding, rally, tracking, scent work, agility, obedience, and other events. Our breeding program is based on our core values: Soundness, Performance, Beauty, and Style (in that order). Our dogs are protective, not aggressive. They are motivated to perform, but are not endlessly demanding.
Show, performance, and companion puppies will be available in the winter, spring, and summer. The puppy contract includes a health guarantee. All breeding stock are DM tested and OFA-certified.
Applications, and deposits from approved buyers, are being accepted now. See the Puppies page on our website for the puppy application and for pictures of the sires and dams, along with litter pedigrees of planned litters. Please submit the application as directed on the website, before contacting me about puppy availability.
Strong preference will be given to show and/or performance homes. I am happy to mentor seriously committed beginners, juniors, and owner-handlers. RiverRock puppies are not available as “pets only”. There is an expectation of involvement in at least one AKC sport (including, but not limited to, conformation, scent work, obedience, herding, therapy work, agility, and rally) to the first titling level out of respect for the breed as a working dog. A RiverRock puppy is more than a pet: it is an adventure!

I am an AKC Bronze Breeder of Merit, 38 year member of the GSDC of America and the President of the GSDC of Houston. Our dogs Hips & Elbows are OFA certified , 8 generations and DM tested. Much research, knowledge and love goes into every litter and pup. We pride ourselves on soundness of temperament and structure that are beautiful, strong athletic dogs.
Our dogs are from top American champion bloodlines, are all finished Champions. We breed carefully and selectively for betterment of the breed. Our pups are home raised and loved and our babies so we are selective about placing them. Our owners become family members and many have returned to us for their next dog and multiple dogs through the last 40 years.
My lifetime passion for this breed has been a blessing in so many ways and I am thankful that I can share it with others. We welcome others that have a love for this breed to contact us and share in the joy of life with a German Shepherd Family member.
