A close-coupled dog with excellent shoulder; good, natural topline; strong back with a good wither. Excellent bone, substance and depth of body. Strong rear assembly, with strong short hock. A powerful male in motion, who pushes off strongly under his body, transmits well through his good back, and covers ground easily. He follows through well, with no kick up behind, and looks as though he could gait all day. He could be better coming and going, but typical of the breed today."
