"Pride and joy express the way we feel about having Select Champion Scher-Lo's Jr. Executive "Tuffy" appear in the Red Book again.

"Tuffy" is our fourth generation homebred champion male, all of whom finished before their second birthday.  Tuffy's show career has been short and spectacular, finishing in three weekends with four majors and culminating with a Select at the 1998 National under breeder-judge Ed Barritt before Tuffy was three.

To us he represents what the standard calls for in "the most amount of ground covered", spectacular forehand, iron back and powerful rear drive with good follow-through, beautifully clean at both ends.

Tuffy has an outstanding temperament a magnificent masculine head with dark eye, complete dentition and perfect bite.  With a beautiful natural topline, elegant arch of neck and a firm, short middlepeice, he is the kind of dog that shows himself.

Tuffy is an aggressive stud dog.  He shortens backs and increases withers and is free of the coat factor.  He produces beautiful breed type, good angles, gorgeous heads, iron backs and tight feet.

He has several youngsters starting their careers this year.  It should be a very exciting year.
