"here is an honest male, lacking just a bit here and there. He has very good sex characteristics and time may take him into the "stallion" quality. He has excellent bone and substance. Good pigment and a nice coat. Could have a little more layback of shoulder, but uses it well. He is an easy side mover with nice reach and extension. Reasonable coming and going. He became stronger as the day went on."

"I liked this dog early but he was not as consistent as he needed to be to be ranked higher. A black and tan with good secondary sex characteristics, substance and body proportions. He is not flashy, but after a long day of judging he remained very consistent and continued to show his ability to carry a firm topoine. He has good drive and reach from the rear. His front extension is correct because of his upper arm and shoulder blade which are near equal in length."
