 The GSDCA is pleased to be able to offer awards that honor outstanding members of our club who meet the specific requirements of the awards. For those outstanding dogs in our breed, we honor them for accomplishments unique to the German Shepherd Dog. The titles for animals who consistently produce successful progeny in both the conformation and performance venues, titles for animals judged to be correct to the breed standard in both the conformation and performance venues, and contributions to the breed are available. The Annual Training Achievement Annual is awarded annually to member owners of the Sires and Dams of German Shepherd Dogs whose progeny achieve obedience, herding, tracking, agility titles and/or Schutzhund degrees. Breeders Pin Awarded to a GSDCA-member breeder of a conformation champion. These are awarded to a GSDCA breeder only once irrespective of the number of champions bred. Pins (AKC Titlle)One gold Champion pin and certificate from the GSDCA is awarded to each Champion of Record, to those member-owners who contact the Chairperson with proof of title. Pins and certificates are also available for a wide variety of performance titles. |

The Register of Merit (ROM) title is awarded to sires and dams of progeny competing in the conformation and performance rings. The qualifications are different for the sire than for the dam as the sire will probably have more progeny in his life time than the dam. |
