The German Shepherd Dog Club of America and the German Shepherd Dog Club of America - Working Dog Association are proud to support the event honoring the canine working dog teams on the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. 9/11 Working Dog Recognition Ceremony Finding One Another: Courage Beyond Measure (many thanks to Georgia Cawley for sharing her moving commemoration of the 9/11 rescue efforts) UPDATE ON THE 9/11 SAR CEREMONY!!!!!The statue shown in the pictures below was done in memory of the GSDs who served and died in the 9/11 rescue effort. The Board Members of the GSDCA and the GSDCA-WDA and the Tails of Hope Foundation are helping to sponsor shipping the statue to the ceremony and it's relocation after the ceremony. What a beautiful tribute to the courage and work ethic of our breed.
