Debbie Hokkanen announced that this will be her last year as National Show Chairman. Each year Debbie has included a request in the Review and appealed at multiple Board meetings for interested parties to step forward and familiarize themselves with the requirements and the job of a National Chairman. The announcement was made at this time to be proactive in securing a future National Show Chairman. She asked that the Board look at this announcement as "Succession planning" creating insurance that the GSDCA continues to remain a strong force at the National front. It is important that the transition be done smoothly during this year. Debbie will continue to be a resource for that individual in future years. Ken Downing asked that Debbie Hokkanen retain the Chairmanship of Show Sites and Board meeting sites. Debbie accepted this chairmanship.
