"... Amongst Bill's (Bill von Kleistweg) American get was a dog called Ch Rikter von Liebestraum who was also a great producer but seldom used. Rikter, on the mother side combines some of the great breeding efforts of Grant Mann including his breeding to Quell von Friedholtz. It is found closely behind what turned out to be the greatest revolution in American German Shepherd breeding yet."

~ Garrett Gordon
Author of GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG HISTORY

He was a dog to be admired. Not because he was perfectly angulated fore or rear, but because he was well put together, well balanced and sound of mind and body. He passed on the less than perfect head, and his progeny occasionally did the same. He also passed along his temperament, which as far as I could tell was flawless. "
