1966 Register of Merit Report

"Vogue is the 4th Grand Victrix to become ROM and it is nice to be able to say that she was handled all through her career to her final great win by her breeders/owner. She is part of a star studded Shepherd Family for she brings to five the number of living ROM producers owned by Art and Helen Hess; she is their 3rd home bred ROM title holder. "Ten and one half years ago we bred our first litter." Helen wrote- "In those years we have made 16 champions, one U.S. and one Canadian Grand Victor." Vogue's career proves her reputation as a fiery, alert, highly photogenic bitch. Her picture has appeared in The Popular German Shepherd Dog written by Dr. L.C. Smith of Calcutta, India and in Your German Shepherd by Reginald Cleveland. As she adds ROM to her titles she joins an illustrious group of Hessian bred Shepherds of whom their breeders and owners should be very proud."
