GSDC Oregon ---May 24, 2008 --- Winners Bitch & Best of Breed

"My Best of Breed for this specialty came from the Open Bitch Class: This is a well proportioned bi-color bitch, plush and deep bodied. The head piece is nicely balanced, with lovely planes, correct ear set and a nicely shaped, dark eye. Although she tended to "charge" a little when she initially moved, she soon settled in and used the ring with great extension, both front and rear, keeping her feet close to the ground and maintaining a firm topline. While stacked, she exhibited lovely static balance, with her front well under her and a profile of smooth flowing curves. She was clearly the finest mover of the entire entry and maintained her gait through Open Bitch, Winners Bitch and Best of Breed."

Oregon German Shepherd Dog Show --- May 26 2008 --- Best of Breed

"I first saw "Sadie" as she is called about a year ago in the American Bred class and awarded her "Best of Breed" and her first points I was told. I loved her then and I was thrilled to see her again in my Specials class this year at the Oregon German Shepherd Dog Show on Memorial Day weekend and again give her her first Specials "Best of Breed". When I judge one like "Sadie" it makes me think of my handling years and how I would love to have this one on the end of my lead she absolutely loves the show ring and she will give you the suspension as stated in the standard "covering the most amount of ground with the least amount of effert". Sadie is a bi-color with a beautiful head, dark eyes and expression. Both shows in which I judged "Sadie" I was told the handlers were new to the dog ring and all I can say is "Sadie" made them both look very good."
